| DESCRIPTION | Oral History interview about Dr. William Lytle Schurz, diplomat, author, teacher and scholar. He served as President of the American Institute for Foreign Trade or AIFT (now the Thunderbird School of Global Management) from July, 1949 to June, 1951. His favorite role was that of instructor where he specialized Latin America, giving students a "knowledge of the history, economics, and geography of the countries south of the border and the culture and attitudes of its people." |
