| DESCRIPTION | This paper documents two archaeological expeditions conducted by the Gila Pueblo Foundation in the early 1930s. The first reconnaissance trip collected wood specimens in the Sierra Ancha mountains to conduct tree-ring dating analysis. The second trip excavated a ca. 13th century ruin located at Canyon Creek in the Sierra Ancha mountains. |
