Overview
ARS 36-2023 establishes an annual requirement for a report on substance abuse treatment
programs that receive funds from the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS). The
statute directs the ADHS to prepare an annual report on drug abuse treatment programs in this
state that receive funds from the Department to be submitted by January 1 of each year to the
Governor, the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives and to
be made available to the general public through the Arizona Drug and Gang Prevention
Resource Center.
Substance Use Treatment Population SFY 2005
Data in this report represents all children, adolescents and adults that were identified with a
diagnosis of substance abuse/dependence
