PUBLICATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF MINES AND
MINERAL RESOURCES FROM 1939 TO 1990
Open File Report 90-5
August, 1990
by Diane Bain
This report is a serial listing of the publications of the Arizona Department of Mineral Re-sources
(1939-1984) and the Arizona Department of Mines and Mineral Resources (1984-August,
1990). The name change in 1984, to more accurately reflect the Department’s involvement with
mining, did not affect the function or the procedures of the Department, so the publications have
not been segregated.
All of the publications are available for inspection at the Department’s Phoenix office. Photo-copies
may be obtained for out-of-print publications.
This report was compiled from a dBaseIV™database and published with Ventura Publisher
®. It is available as a dBase IV™database or ASCII listing.

ARIZONA METALLOGENIC MAP
SERIES
These maps are generated using primary commodity data
from the Arizona Mineral Industry Location System’s da-tabase
at scales of 1:1,000,000 and 1:125,000. It is
planned that this new series will include individual metal
commodity maps, along with tables and text, for 16 of the
1 x 2 degree maps that cover southwestern Arizona.
MM17 - Metallogenic Provinces of Arizona, P.F.
O’Hara, N.J. Niemuth, and G. Ryberg, 1989, Scale

The name change in 1984, to more accurately reflect the Department’s involvement with mining, did not affect the function or the procedures of the Department, so the publications have not been segregated. All of the publications are available for inspection at the Department’s Phoenix office. Photo-copies may be obtained for out-of-print publications. This report was compiled from a dBaseIV™database and published with Ventura Publisher ®. It is available as a dBase IV™database or ASCII listing. DIRECTORIES Active Mine List, April 1967, 1967, 9 p.
