**Regardless of product being listed on the APL, compliance with ADOT Specification 106.05 is still required on ADOT projects**
The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) does not have the obligation to use any products listed in the Approved Products List (APL). The APL simply documents that the listed products have been tested, evaluated, or examined under ADOT standards, and have been found acceptable for use in ADOT projects. Please refer to section 106.14 of the Arizona Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, 2008 edition, for a more detailed description of APL use. ADOT reserves the right to update the APL without prior notice. ADOT is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by using the data listed on the APL or any revision of the APL. A current APL can be downloaded from the ADOT web page or obtained from the ADOT Research Center at 206 S. 17th Ave., Mail Drop 075R, Phoenix, Arizona 85007. Product contains silicon dioxide (silica), a known carcinogen. Users must be trained on hazard communication, personal protective equipment, and safe chemical handling. Users must use N-95 dust mask when pouring, mixing, or otherwise creating airborne silica dust. Skin and eye protection must also be worn in accordance with recommendations in the MSDS.
