The Sedona Historical Society
The Sedona Historical Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose efforts are entirely funded by the generous support of members and sponsors. The Society’s mission is to research, preserve and teach the history of the greater Sedona area.

As part of that effort the Society operates the Sedona Heritage Museum at 735 Jordan Road in Uptown Sedona. In addition to the Museum, the Society offers oral history and living history programs, student programs, a research library, speakers bureau, partnerships with local businesses and organizations, and many other special, history-related programs.

The Sedona Heritage Museum
The Sedona Heritage Museum’s exhibits include stories of area pioneers, movies made in Sedona, cowboy life, vintage vehicles and antique orchard and fruit processing equipment. This farm dates from Sedona’s earliest homesteaders. The red rock home and apple packing shed are Local Historic Landmarks and are on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Museum is located on the Jordan Farmstead at 735 Jordan Road in Jordan Historical Park and is open daily at 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Society seeks to preserve the artifacts and the essence of the way of life experienced by Sedona pioneers from 1875 to the present. Museum admission is $3. Children under 12 and Society members are free.

Please visit the Society's website at www.sedonamuseum.org to see photos of the structures, exhibits, vintage vehicles, etc. The museum is located in a beautiful 4+ acre city park with picnic tables and walking distance to the Thompson Trail trailhead. Our setting (visible on on our website) is at the base of beautiful red rocks. The Museum sits high enough to offer wonderful views and a rural setting just off the Uptown district.
