Council called to order by Mayor Bennett.
Present: Mr. Mayor; Councilmen - Gillett, Marks, Garber.
Ordinance No. 1. General Government passed by call of the yeas and nays as follows:
Mayor – yea; Marks, yea; Gillett, yea; Garber, yea.
Ordinance No. 3 – Taxation, passed by call of the yeas and nays as follows:
Mayor, yea; Marks, yea; Gillett, yea, Garber, yea.
Ordinance No. 4 – Prohibiting the sale of Fireworks, passed by call of the yeas and nays as follows:
Mayor, yea; Marks, yea; Gillett, yea; Garber, yea.
Ordinance No. 5 – Sanitation, passed by call of the yeas and nays as follows:
Mayor, yea; Marks, yea; Gillett, yea; Garber, yea.
Ordinance No. 7 – Gambling, passed by call of the yeas and nays as follows:

Moved by Gillett that a committee of one be appointed to investigate the suitability of the building on rear of the Wagoner lot for a jail, Carried. Mayor appointed Tuckey.
Ordinance No. 8, Registration, passed by call of the yeas and nays as follows:
Mayor, yea; Marks, yea; Gillett, yea; Tuckey, yea; Garber, yea.
Gillett moved that the Town Clerk be authorized to purchase all necessary books, stationery and other supplies for use of his office and also for the offices of Police Judge, Treasurer, and Marshal. Carried.
Marks moved that a warrant be ordered in favor of C. L. Gillett for $11.50, of which $5.00 shall be paid Miss Lois Payson for copying ordinances of the Town of Wickenburg. Carried.
Gillett moved that the Town Clerk be authorized to employ a stenographer, when required for special work. Carried.
Moved that a committee of two, of which Mr. Mayor shall be one, be appointed to investigate cost of a jail and the possibility of securing same, Carried.

Ordinance No. 6, Prohibiting Sale of Intoxicating Liquors, passed by call of the yeas and nays as follows:
Mayor, yea; Marks, yea; Gillett, yea; Tuckey, yea; Garber, yea.
Moved by Marks that F. H. Lyman be appointed Town Attorney to serve for one year from August 1, 1910 for the total compensation of $300. (Three Hundred Dollars) to be paid in two semi-annual installments. Carried.
