Moved that work of putting cement walk and awning in front of jail be authorized. The County having agreed to pay $50.00 toward expense. Carried.
Moved that Clerk investigate condition of ditch in front of Carr’s residence and make such repairs as may be required. Carried.
Moved that rates for fans be increased 33 1/3% over rates for last season and that hours of service be from 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. except on Sat. night to 12 p.m. Carried.
Moved that Mayor and Clerk be authorized to issue warrants on electric fund for supplies as required and to draw on Electric fund an amount sufficient to pay current obligations. Carried.
Moved that an ordinance be drafted providing that all plans of public amusement including pool rooms and picture shows, dance halls, bowling alleys and shooting galleries be closed from midnight on Saturday night to midnight Sunday night. Carried.
Moved that a phone be placed in Marshal’s office at Town’s expense. Carried.
Moved that J. S. Lawlind be employed as Marshal at $75.00 per month.
