W. H. Slaughter appointed Act. Mayor in absence of Mayor Bennett.
Moved that U. S. Reclamation Service be granted a permit to erect and maintain a 40,000 volt transmission line to run from R. R. Stock Yards in N. W. direction along the side of Market St. nearest to R.R. following said street to First Ave. and across First Ave. and Jefferson St. to the intersection of First Ave. and Jefferson, provided that poles shall be placed ten feet from all property lines and poles to be placed under direction of Town Electrician. Carried.
