Special Meeting, Oct. 22 -1912
Present: Mayor, Carlton, Trebil, Slaughter.
Moved that the amended contract between U. S. Reclamation Service and the Town of Glendale be approved, Carried.
Following resolution presented and by unanimous vote adopted:
“Resolved that the Mayor and Town Clerk be directed and authorized to execute the agreement dated Oct. 15 – 1912 on the part of the Town of Glendale covering the furnishing of electric power by the U. S. Reclamation Service to the Town of Glendale, said agreement to be in force for a period of one year from the date of its approval.”
Following resolution presented and on motion adopted:
“Resolved that the system of charging and schedule of rates of electric power presented by the elect. Engineer within the Town of Glendale, and the form of contract with coverage be adopted and that the Engineer of the Electric Dept. and Town Clerk and Mayor be authorized to settle such points as may arise in connection with rates and contract for services not included in scheduled rates and contract; also that Town Clerk be authorized to sign contracts for electric power on behalf of the Town, and that all moneys for electric service be paid to Town Clerk who shall keep separate account of same.
