Former U.s. Ambassador
Raul H. Casiro of Tucson last
night told 470 graduates at
Glendale Community College
to keep any dissent they wish
to e~press "within the realm
of decency and decorum."
Meanwhile, across the Valley
at Mesa Community College,
businessman Clare Felstead,
past president of the
Mesa Chamber of Commerce,
urged more than 600 graduating
seniors to "recognize that
bu"inessis a shapeI' of action."
Castro exhorted the young
graduates to become meaningfully
involved in the affairs
of the community and
nation. But he cautioned them
against mere involvement and
change for the sake of change.
"If there must be change, it
must be to the benefit of the
community and the country,"
said Castro. He also admonished
that in effecting change
yOU don't "break the windows
in order to resolve the problem."
