The largest graduation class
in GCC's short history will
receive diplomas in the Central
Mall June 4 at 8 p.m.
The fourth. annual Commencement
will honor about
390 graduating sophomores.
For the first time, thegraduating
class will be addressed
by a speaker from out of state.
Dr. Harold Grant from Michigan
State University will give
the address.
The GCC band, directed by
Leroy E. Baxter, will play
for Commencement. There
will be a reception in honor
of the graduates for parents
and friends of the graduates.
It will be given in the Student
Center Hall immediately after
the Commencement exercises.
Graduates will also be honored
-,at Convocation May 29
and Baccalaureate June 1.
Convocation will be at 1 p.m.
in the Student Center Hall,
immediately followed. by rehearsal
for Commencement.
Convocation addresses will
be given by Dr. Matt O. Hanhila,
