DESCRIPTION
[Forrest:]
East
Wall
,
South
End
in
Den
.
Top
Sword
under
Tomahawk
was
found
in
attic
of
David
Bradford
House
,
South
Main
St.
,
Washington
,
Pa
.
It
may
have
belonged
to
Bradford
. The
Large
Tomahawk
beside
the
sword
was
found
on the
site
of
Chief
Captain
Pipes
village
on
Tymochtse
Creek
where
Col
.
Wm
.
Crawford
was
burned
at
eh
stake
by
Indians
in
June
1782
. The
other
sword
is
British
.
I
bought
it
at a
second
hand
store
in
Quebec
City
,
Canada
in
1949
. The
first
horn
at
eh
right
is
a
fox
horn
found
in
attic
of
David
Bradford
House
.
Nothing
more
known
of
it
. To the
left
of the
Fox
horn
is
a
Water
Buffalo
horn
,
made
for
blowing
,
picked
up
in a

near
Manila

Inf
. in
1898
. He
put
a
tag
on
it
and
mailed
it
to
me
. On the
stand
is
an
old
wicker
covered
bottle
. This was also
found
in the
attic
of
David
Bradford
House
. The
tin
box
at the
front
of the
stand
is
very
old
.
It
may
have been for
tobacco
or
snuff
.
Herbert
Pook
gave
it
to
me
when
they
moved
to
California
in
1900
. He
said
it
was
old
in the
family
then. The
marble
topped
stand
came
from
my
mother
after
she
died
in
1939
.
It
dates
back
to the
1850s
at
least
, and
probably
came
from
Grandmother
Forrest
or
Grandmother
Collins
,
my
mothers
mother
. The
marble
topped
stand
in the
old
den
was
given
to
me
after
my
aunt
,
Alice
Forrest
Boyle
,
died
. She had had
it
ever
since
she was
married
in the
1850s
. The
lamp
on this
table
was the
first
electric
table
lamp
Margaret
and
I
had. The
shade
has
pencil
marks
on
it
made
by
Peggy
when
she was a
little
girl
.
Just
above
the
lamp
is
a
framed
collection
of
Navajo
Indian
silverwork
that
I
collected
at
Billy
Meadows
Trading
Post
, on the
San
Juan
River
,
New
Mexico
, in
1902
and
later
in
AZ
,
before
1908
. The
Sioux
Dance
Moccasins
on the
wall
just
under
the
lamp
,
I
got
in
Denver
,
CO
in
1902
. The
Hopi
Kachina
Plaque
on the
wall
I
got
in
1907
at
Mishongnovi
Pueblo
,
AZ
. The
small
leather
beaded
knife
case
I
got
from a
Ute
squaw
at
Navajo
Springs
,
Southern
Ute
Res.
,
Colorado
, in
1902
. The
two
water
bottles
on the
wall
were
made
by the
Navajos
.
I
got
them
both
in
1902
at
Billy
Meadows
Trading
Post
.

hanging
on the

, that on

from
Santa
Fe
, and that on the
right
from
Gallup
. The
two

are
genuine
. That at the

is
from
some
southern
tribe
nad
has the
original
handle
. That on the

is
a

,
very

and from
Penna
. The
