The name of this organization shall be the Pima County Medical Association.
Article II--Purposes of the association.
The purposes of this Association shall be to bring into one organization the entire medical profession of Pima County, and unite with similar societies of other counties of the Territory of Arizona to form the Arizona Medical Association; to extend medical knowledge and advance medical science; to elevate the standard of medical education, and to secure the enactment and enforcement of just medical laws; to promote friendly intercourse among physicians; to guard and foster the material interests of its members and protect them against imposition; and to enlighten and direct public opinion in regard to the great

Donated by the Pima County Medical Society (Tucson, Arizona). Ownership of the paper originals of the 1904-1954 minutes of the Pima County Medical Society (PCMS) was transferred by PCMS to the Arizona Health Sciences Library.
