Meeting was called to order by President Olcott and minutes of previous meeting read and approved.
Moved by Dr. Whitmore and seconded by Dr. Shattuck that resolutions upon the death of Dr. Jas. W. Coleman be drafted, and a copy be published in the local papers and one sent to family of deceased. passed--
Dr. Whitmore, Fenner & Schnabel appointed on committee and presented the following resolution.
Resolutions of the Pima County Medical Society
Upon the death of Dr. Jas W. Coleman--
Whereas--God in his infinite wisdom has removed from earthly toil and suffering our fellow member Dr. Jas W. Coleman, and while we bow in submission to the devine [ divine ] will, yet we are overwhelmed with a feeling of irreparable loss.
Therefore be it Resolved--that this society has lost a most earnest and valuable member, that the profession feels the loss of an unusually worthy and excellent member, that his patients have lost a most self sacrificing friend and wise counselor, that his bereaved family has lost a loving husband and indulgent father and that the city and Territory mourns the loss of a true and loyal citizen.
An ideal physician and an ideal citizen has been called from us.
Be it further resolved that the friendship and intimate associations, which only the older members
