Medical Society Mourns Loss of Dr. C. T. Dulin
Funeral Services For Local Physician Held Here Yesterday Afternoon.
Funeral services in charge of the Morgan McDermott post of the American Legion and the Knights of Pythias, were conducted over the body of Dr. C.T. Dulin, well-known local physician, who died last Friday morning at his home at 828 North Sixth Avenue. The services were held from the O.C. Parker Undertaking Chapel at 2:30 p.m. yesterday.
The deceased, who had been a resident of this city for the past four years, is survived by the widow and his mother, Mrs. Anna Dulin. His demise was mourned by a large circle of friends gained through his associations in a business and social way during his residence in Old Pueblo.
Active pallbearers at the funeral were: Drs. J.I. Butler, I.E. Huffman, C.A. Thomas and H.H. Ballinger, O.S. McPherson, Ed Dietrick, Harold Hartley and John C. Haynes.
Honorary pallbearers were: Drs. W.V. Whitmore, Jerry Metzger, B.F. Morris, George Purcell, Lincoln Rogers, S.D. Townsend, Meade Clyne, A.G. Schnabel, George E. Dodge, T.H. Cates, O.A. Peterson [= C.A. Peterson ?] and S.C. Davis; Judge S. Pattee, Charles Solomon and R.K. Shelton. Interment was made in Evergreen Cemetery.
In connection with Dr. Dulin's death, the following resolutions were adopted by the Pima County Medical society yesterday.
Whereas, this society has been called upon to mourn the loss of our fellow member, Dr. Charles T. Dulin, and
Whereas, during the few years that he has been affiliated with this society--following patriotic and efficient service in the United States Army--Dr. Dulin has endeared himself to us by his kind and courteous treatment of his associates; by his deep convictions, his strict integrity, high character and sterling worth, and
Whereas, he has won the admiration of our profession and the entire community by his heroic struggle against the great "White Plague"
therefore
Be It Resolved, that this society has lost a much-respected and valuable member; that this community has been deprived of the services of a skilled oculist--as well as of a loyal and useful citizen; and that a copy of these resolutions be forwarded to the family, also be spread upon the minutes of this society.
