Regular Meeting
February 13, 1940.
The regular meeting, February 13th, was held at the Santa Rita Hotel.
Minutes were read and approved.
Dr. Biddle talked on the advisability of moving the City-County Clinic from the Court House to the County Hospital if the Board of Supervisors see fit. Discussion of the subject by Dr. Sechrist [ Secrist ] followed by a motion of Dr. Biddle, seconded by Dr. Rudolph and carried, that the Board of Supervisors be advised of the fact that the Medical Society favors such a move.
Dr. Farris [ Hervey S. Faris ? ] spoke for Dr. Williams on the subject of Cancer Publicity Campaign by radio and newspaper. A motion by Dr. Farris, seconded by Dr. Presson and passed, that the Society endorse the program.
The subject of a free transfusion donors club was opened by Dr. Lindberg with discussion by Dr. Hill.
A paper on "Treatment of burns" was presented by Dr. H.D. Cogswell.
