Meeting called to order by Dr. Carrell. Dr. Hastings was asked to serve as Secretary until Dr. Hill's arrival. Reading of the minutes of previous meeting omitted.
Dr. Carrell reported on money collections from donations to the Sunshine Climate Club and asked that the 20 or 25 members who have not made payments yet, to send in their checks. No discussions.
Dr. Littlefield made a motion that examinations of conscriptees be made on Wednesdays instead of Mondays. Motion carried.
A letter from Dr. Littlefield as Chairman of the Public Relations Committee was read and unanimously accepted.
A letter from the Social Planning Committee thanking the Society for their interest in enforcement of the sanitary code was read.
Dr. Thompson moved and Dr. Tappan seconded the motion that Dr. Howard draw up a report on the number of contagious diseases admitted to the County Hospital and cite the need for the necessary cubicles.
The scientific program consisted of a talk on "Thoracic Tumors" by Dr. John Alexander.
