2. Entertainment Committee-The question of entertaining the visitors at the Annual State Meeting was discussed. Dr. Kohl made a motion that the Board of Directors recommend to the Pima County Medical Society at the next meeting that an assessment of $4.00 per member be levied for the purpose of entertaining the doctors and their wives attending the annual meeting in May this year, preceding the banquet at the Pioneer Hotel. Dr. W.R. Hewitt seconded this motion, and it was carried. Dr. Manning said that arrangements had been made for golf on Sunday afternoon and for a stag get together for those who do not play. Also that the annual picnic at Dr. Hill's farm will be held sometime between May 20th and 27th.
3. The Central Resident's Committee reported that the program should be left intact as it now stands until such time as approval for two year residency can be obtained. Dr. Hugh Thompson moved that the Residency Committee of the Pima County Medical Society discuss with the Sisters of St. Mary's and the Medical Advisory Board of St. Mary's Hospital the desirability of eventually making the residencies of all three hospitals as equal as possible, and get their reaction. This motion was seconded by Dr. Brainard, and carried.
4. Legislative Committee. A meeting of this committee has been called to next week by Dr. Hastings. Dr. H.E. Thompson suggested that anyone with ideas on vivisection submit them to the committee members.
5. AAPS report was given by Dr. W.G. Shultz, who asked for some suggestions relative to this work. Dr. Hugh Thompson reported on the NPC.
