Report of Dr. E.H. Laidlaw, Chairman of the School Medicine Committee, on the subject of City School Health Problems for medically indigent children, was read. The School health program was discussed. (Report filed).
A. Eyes: Dr. Hugh Thompson made a motion that if the other specialists are in favor of doing this work on a reduced fee basis, the ophthalmologists be asked to fall in line. Dr. Cogswell seconded the motion, and it was carried.
B. The E.N.T. fee of $15.00 for T&A [ tonsil & adenoids examination ? ] was felt to be in line.
C. Posture training and corrective work is under the supervision of the orthopedic surgeons through the Crippled children's Division, and plans for cooperation of physiotherapists have been worked out.
D. Skin: Arrangements are to be made with Dr. Baker.
E. Neurological: EEG's and neurological examinations to be conducted by Dr. L.E. Beaton.
F. Hearts: Cardiac problems are to under the supervision of the pediatricians.
In the field where more than one doctor is participating in the program, it is felt that it should be a rotation of the specialists.
The School Medicine Committee was to act as a liaison officer [ "a" and "officer" crossed out ] between the schools and the Medical Society.
It was not decided where the various phases of this work would be conducted.
Dr. William B. Steen was appointed as a member of the Society to serve on the committee which distributes the funds, also as a member of the Central Health Council.
It was moved by Dr. Cogswell that the plan generally be accepted, with the modifications suggested. Dr. Hastings seconded, and the motion was passed.

The matter of Dr. R.K. Smith's status was clarified. He is an honorary member of the Pima County Medical Society, and holds no membership in the State Medical Society.
