Suggestions for revision of the By-laws were made by Dr. Hayden, as follows:
Amendment to Chapter 1, Section 1, Paragraph 5, page 13;
Thereafter Delegates shall be elected yearly on the basis of one-third the number of Delegates permitted by Arizona Medical Association for terms of three years each, and any lesser fraction thereof shall be elected for a one year term only. [ following text underlined ] In the primary election three times the number of vacancies to be filled shall be selected as candidates without distinction as to years of tenure, and at the final election those receiving the highest number of votes in order shall be declared elected for three years, and those receiving the next highest number of votes shall be elected for one year as Delegates, until all offices of delegates are filled; and according to the highest number of votes received thereafter the Alternate Delegates for that year shall be selected, in number equal to the total number of Delegates. Should a Delegate-(etc. down to the last sentence)- [ following text underlined ] No Delegate shall succeed himself by election until a lapse of three years who has served as a Delegate for more than one year. [ underline ends ]
Amendment to Chapter 1, Section 2, Page 14; Add a new sentence at end:
To eligible to election as a Censor the candidate must have been a member of this Society at least five years.
Amendment to Chapter 4, Section 3, Page 24, by addition of new paragraph:
Resident physicians in local hospitals who become members of this Society by transfer shall be obligated to only one-half of the dues assessed by this Society, plus whatever may be assessed by the Arizona Medical Association.

The application of Dr. R.K. Smith for restoration to active membership in the Society was accepted.
