Dr. Hugh Thompson stated that he thought that perhaps nothing more could be done unless the Censors wished to state as part of their report that they feel the charges were too excessive; that if this were done a copy of their report might be sent to doctors Hill and Williams.
Dr. Kohl stated that Dr. Smelker had also asked him to advise the Board of Directors that this report was in no sense the final one, but that the Censors would meet and draw up an official written report for the Board of Directors.

Dr. Hayden further reported for the Board of Censors that he had written to Dr. J. Whitehill, sending a copy of the letter to Doctors Smelker and Kohl, requesting an official statement as to whether Dr. Whitehill had any knowledge of any members of the Society who had received, either directly or indirectly, any rebates from any laboratory or any business, and if so, he was requested to make official report of it to Dr. Smelker, pointing out that with no specific complaint no action could be taken. Dr. Hayden reported that no reply to this letter has yet been received, possibly due to the fact that this meeting has been moved up one week. Decision was made to allow more time for response from Dr. Whitehill.
The President reported that he had the initial transcript of the report from the Blood Bank committee, which however would not be officially presented because it has not been checked by the other members of Dr. Fuller's committee.
Dr. Cogswell's letter concerning the need for proposed legislation on vivisection, dissection and sterilization was read by the Secretary. This letter is to be presented to the State Council. The President suggested that the Society might write the A.M.A. Bureau of Legal Medicine for information about this matter, and Dr. Hayden moved that such a letter be written and a copy of it enclosed with our letter to the State Society. Dr. Hastings seconded the motion and it was carried. The letter to the A.M.A. Bureau of Legal Medicine is to ask for information on laws regarding patient sterilization operations, cadaver dissection permission and whether such laws should be passed in the State.
It was decided that there should be another meeting of the Board of Directors before the State meeting in Phoenix the first of May.
The question of whether members who move to another community to practice but who retain their membership locally was discussed, with references to Dr. Ephraim Kahn and Dr. S.W. Ballard. The Secretary was empowered to handle, according to the By-Laws.
Dr. Costin's report of the Planned Parenthood Committee was read by the President. (Filed.) Dr. Harry Thompson requested information as to the disposal of monies received by the Planned Parenthood Clinic, and Dr. Steen stated that there should be some method of accounting. Dr. Hastings moved that the report be accepted and filed. Dr. Lewis seconded the motion, and it was carried.
A letter from the Fair Employment Practice Group was read and filled.
Letters from Dr. Oatway and Dr. Bigglestone were read by the Secretary and filed.
The matter for the purchase of a mimeographing machine for the use of the Society was broached by the Secretary, and Dr. Harry Thompson moved that the Secretary be empowered to purchase whatever equipment might be needed. Dr. Kohl seconded, and the motion was carried.
