The President advised the Board of Directors that the American Medical Association and the State Association are urging doctors to show a definite interest in politics. He pointed out that there is a very definite place where action might be taken--that doctors might run for precinct committeemen or provide funds for the circulation of petitions to secure committeemen who are opposed to socialized medicine. The aim would be to have a state convention committed to opposition to socialized medicine sending delegates to the national conventions so instructed.
