Tucson Chamber of Commerce communication regarding the Crusade for Freedom was read by the Secretary, and it was pointed out that probably the members individually had been contacted in this connection.
A letter from Mr. R.T. Gridley, of the American Education Week Committee, was read by the Secretary, asking the Society's cooperation in observance of this program. The President stated that a program in this connection has been arranged.
The 1952 Annual National Essay Contest for High School Students was discusses. It was moved by Dr. Hayden that it be turned over to the Secretary of the Pima County Medical Society's Auxiliary as a project. Motion was seconded by Dr. Hugh Thompson and carried.
It was announced that reprints of the proceedings of the Symposium on Cerebral Palsy held at the New York Academy of Medicine in April of 1951 are available.
It was decided that subscription to Social Legislation Information Service is not necessary because of the fact that information of legislative matters is provided through the American Medical Association.
