point was that when he had charge of the children he knew what was going on.
Dr. Steen moved that the President appoint a committee to take care of tuberculosis at Comstock Hospital.
Dr. Farness suggested that this be given to Dr. Nagoda, asking him to organize a committee and put it on a 3 or 6 month rotation basis.
Dr. Kent remarked that certain people had expressed interest.
Dr. Cogswell stated that he would appoint a committee to handle this matter.
The Constitution and By-Laws of the Pima County Pediatric Society, organized May 1st, 1952, and sent by Dr. Eileen Phillips, Secretary-Treasurer, for the information and approval of the President, were read and discussed. It was unanimously decided to give them blessings and good speed ahead.
The proposals made by Dr. Jackman Pyre at the last regular meeting in regard to arrangements for the Annual Picnic were discussed.
Dr. Kent remarked that he could not see why there should be an assessment added to the dues.
Dr. Cogswell said that the committee, when figuring costs, realized that the usual $5.00 would not cover costs, and that raising the charge to $7.50 for reservation would not go over, and that the only alternative seemed to be making the assessment. Dr. Cogswell also reminded the members that more guests were being invited, in the interest of public relations, and that this would raise costs.
Dr. Kent inquired why this Picnic should be made so expensive.
Dr. Steen stated that the Entertainment Committee had suggested making a routine yearly assessment of $2.50, in addition to the charge for the Picnic.
Dr. Hayden moved that the Secretary notify Dr. Pyre for the Entertainment Committee that this is not to be made an annual assessment, but taken care of from year to year as dictated by circumstances. Motion seconded by Dr. Kent, and carried.

He also said that the State Grievance Committee had been going to have a meeting tonight, May 22, in re the case of Dr. Lieberman, but that this had been postponed; that Mr. B.G. Thompson said that Judge Jacobson had called him and said the Dick Evans and Dr. Lieberman would not waive the oversight of the committee and our honorable secretary in not notifying Dr. Lieberman in advance writing of the original meeting of the Board of Censors, but that they had arrived now on common ground on which to meet, and the case was continued until next week.
Dr. Cogswell informed Dr. Kohl that the Board of Censors would receive a letter from Dr. Sanger regarding his problem with Dr. Busse.
Dr. Kohl said that Dr. Sanger had visited him at home on Sunday and spoken of this, saying that he did not wish to resort to legal action, but felt that perhaps the Board of Censors might speak with him, telling him that his services were no longer required. Dr. Kohl inquired what the Board of Directors had advised Dr. Sanger to do.
Dr. Cogswell stated that he had been advised to write a letter to the Society.
