Dr. Beaton remarked that there is a constant flood of complaints about this man, that he has no degree, but that there is as yet no licensing for medical psychologists in this State, and recommended giving the Better Business Bureau the blessing of the Society.
Dr. Harry Thompson suggested that the secretary call the Bureau on the telephone, giving what information there is at hand and stating that an attempt has been made by the society to handle this matter which has failed.
Motion was made by Dr. E.M. Hayden that a minimum of 25 Automobile Emblems be ordered for the Pima County Medical Society from the American Medical Association for sale to the members. Motion seconded by Dr. Bernfeld and carried. The sample emblem is to be shown at the next Society meeting.

Dr. Engle spoke on behalf of the Auxiliary concerning the annual AAPS Essay Contest, saying that there was some disagreement among the women at the last meeting, some of them feeling that not to put on the contest would be to shirk responsibility while others felt that the Essay was stupid because of the subject, which is "Why this country furnishes us with the finest medical care." He said that it had been decided to refer the matter back to the Society for further direction concerning whether this organization really wished them to go ahead with the contest.
Dr. Cogswell said that Mr. Robert Morrow stated that the school teachers would not have time to do anything about the contest, that the children were too busy and that the school could not have anything to do with it.
Dr. Engle said that this is not sponsored by the AMA but by the AAPS, which organization does not carry any official weight, but that he thought the worst thing about it is that the subject is not at all clever and might even arouse resentment among the parents of the school children.
Dr. Harry Thompson moved that the Society write the AAPS, telling them why the society cannot sponsor the Essay contest. Motion seconded by Dr. Beaton, and carried.
