with their husbands about working at County Hospital were told "absolutely not to go out there." Apparently the med do not want their wives to be associated with the Auxiliary and particularly not with County Hospital. Dr. Manning stated that he would like to see a good, active Auxiliary, and that Mrs. Thompson had suggested that the Society members be advised about this feeling and urged to allow their wives to participate in this work.
Dr. Beaton remarked that an offer had been made to the Auxiliary to take selling HYGEIA off their hands, so that they could get on with their organization program. He suggested having another meeting with them.
Dr. Harry Thompson suggested that this matter be discussed at a Society meeting, that perhaps they do not want their wives to do this type of work.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
