REGULAR MEETING
November 10, 1953
This meeting was held at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, upon invitation of Colonel Ronald F. Kirk and his Staff at the Air Force Base Hospital. It was preceded by a conducted tour of the Base at 3: P.M., a cocktail party at 5: P.M., and dinner at the Officers Club at 6:30 P.M.
The meeting of the Society was called to order at 8: P.M. by the President, W.R. Manning. Opening remarks were made by Colonel Kirk, who introduced Brigadier General Ohman, commanding officer at Davis-Monthan Field. General Ohman welcomed the doctors of Pima County to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, Minutes of previous meeting were not read.
As provided for in the Minutes of the meeting of the Board of Directors on November 5, 1953, a letter composed by the Secretary, addressed to the Public Health Department of Arizona, copies of which are to be sent to the Governor, the Senators and Representatives from Pima County, and released to the newspapers, was presented to the Society for vote of approval. It was moved by Dr. Leo Kent, seconded by Dr. Charles Newcomb, that this letter be accepted as read and sent as ordered. Motion carried. Copy of the letter is included following these Minutes.
The President called or balloting on memberships, and appointed Tellers.

Ballots having been counted, all were found to have been selected to memberships as listed above.
The Nominating Committee as appointed by the President, composed of Doctors Harry E. Thompson, Edward M. Hayden and Royal W. Kohl, and the Board of Censors, Doctors R.E. Hastings, Royal W. Rudolph and Hugh C. Thompson, having met and furnished the Secretary with a list of nominees as prescribed by the By-Laws, presented and announced the names of the nominees for office as follows:
