The A.M.A. report on H.R. 10 and H.R. 11, so called "Jenkins (Reed)-Keogh Bills, Legislation to Provide Pensions for the Self-Employed, was reported on by the chairman of the Committee on Legislation, Dr. Harry Thompson. It was recommended by the A.M.A., the Arizona Medical Association and the Legislative Committee of this Society that the legislators be advised that we favor these Bills, and so moved by Dr. Harry Thompson. Motion seconded by Dr. Royal Rudolph, and carried.
Letter was received from Elizabeth Laidlaw containing the following suggestions from the School Medical Committee:
1. That doctors be asked to notify the school, the school nurse, or herself, if they have any patients in school with diabetes or epilepsy.
2. That doctors who order "No physical education" or "Modified physical education" give, briefly, their reason for so doing.
3. That written reports be made by all school personnel, including the nurse, of every treatment made on a school child.
4. That doctors refuse to treat accident cases covered by the present High School athletic policy.
5. That the matter of liability insurance for school nurses be looked into.
Letter was received from Dr. Juan Fonseca, conveying the request of the Multiple Sclerosis group for appointment of a Medical Advisory Board, which is required for chapter recognition by the National Society.
Letter from Dr. Francis Bean concerning the appointment of a medical examiner to assist the coroners was received. It was moved by Dr. Hileman that the President appoint a committee consisting of the pathologists in town to act as liaison committee between the Society and the Board of Supervisors to thrash this matter out. Motion was seconded by Dr. Kent and carried. The President appointed the following committee for this purpose:

Statement of accounts was submitted and discussed. Dr. Royal Rudolph moved to wait until the first of the year before deciding on bond purchases. Motion seconded by Dr. Bernstein and carried.
