Having received the report of the Tellers, the President announced that all have been elected to membership as previously stated in these Minutes, and he introduced those members who were present.
Dr. Bernstein remarked on the excellent dinner provided by the Veterans Administration, and stated that this has been helpful by falling in line with the desire of the Society to get its members together especially on meeting nights. He thanked Dr. Gaines for the hospitality extended to the Society and turned the meeting over to him, with the remark that the meeting would be adjourned at the close of the scientific session.
Dr. Gaines welcomed all the guests of the Hospital and, at his request, Dr. Leon Titche introduced the speaker, J. Cuthbert Owens, Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Colorado. Dr. Owens' subject was "Causalgia", which was illustrated by colored slides.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:13 P.M.
