HOLY FEAST DAYS IN PIMERIA ALTA
Views of three major events in three different communities. Magdalena's centuries-old Feast of Saint Francis which begins with a holy pilgrimage and ends in a bawdy carnival; the annual feast in Santa Cruz, a traditional Papago Indian village; and Sonora's Dia de San Juan which marks the coming of the rains and the planting ofthe crops.
