INTRODUCTION
The Arizona Affordable Housing Profile is a groundbreaking report commissioned by the Arizona Housing Commission, the Arizona Department of Housing, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The purpose of this report is to provide leaders in Arizona with a "point in time" picture of the housing stock within each city, county and on many tribal lands. Most importantly, the profile specifically details the affordable housing gap of each jurisdiction. One of the issues highlighted in the report is the uniqueness of each community with respect to its affordable housing challenges.
