DESCRIPTION	EXECUTIVE SUMMARY A “Southwest Drought Summit” was held at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona on May 12-13, 2003. The summit brought together over 200 regional experts and decision makers to assess drought impacts, integrate knowledge about the causes and consequences of drought in the Southwest, and propose sustainable strategies for the future.
