Description
Sterling silver cigar humidor designed for the USS Arizona Silver Service with the interior and bottom composed of wood. The front of the humidor is decorated by the state seal under an eagle and flanked by double swagged flags and cacti. The back of the box is adorned by an engraving labeled "Tumacacori Mission." The sides are engraved with ranching scenes: one displays sheep and the other, ostrich. Each side engraving is bordered by a knotted rope. The top of the box features a cattle ranching engraving bordered by twisted rope. To either side of the engraving is a NAVY emblem flanked by laurels. Above and below the engraving are two bars containing the word "Arizona" under two dolphins facing a seashell. Both sides of the bar have a protruding triton. The bottom of the humidor features a wave motif and four shell-shaped feet.
