The cup-shaped candleholder is rimmed at the top with a twisted rope pattern; beneath the candleholder is a scalloped drip basin. The body of the candlestick features the state seal while the other side displays the NAVY emblem. Each symbol is displayed under an eagle and flanked by double swagged flags and cacti. Over each symbol is the word "Arizona" inside of a bar. The body of the candlestick also features two saguaro cacti in relief which emerge from the base.
