The ladle has a long ornate handle featuring the state seal topped by an eagle clutching an anchor. The eagle's chest is covered by the NAVY emblem, while the eagle itself is flanked by swagged flags. Underneath the state seal is a vertical bar with the word "Arizona" inside. The bar is flanked on either side by a dolphin and the end of the bar trails aquatic vegetation down the handle.
