Glen Canyon Conservancy- John Wesley Powell Museum

The John Wesley Powell Museum encompasses history and anthropology with specialized collections focused largely on the City of Page, Glen Canyon Dam, Lake Powell, John Wesley Powell, and the Colorado Plateau.

The mission of the Glen Canyon Conservancy is to preserve Powell Country for future generations of explorers.

Grand Canyon Conservancy was founded in 1986. In 2019, GCC and the John Wesley Powell Memorial Museum merged into a single nonprofit to better preserve and protect the cultural heritage, natural resources, and wild character of our area.
