The king-size patchwork quilt, 7 1/2 ft x 7 1/2 ft, is made of cotton and bears handwritten ink signatures of victims, evacuees, firefighters and politicians. With help and material from the Crazy Quilt Shoppe in Springerville, men and Women evacuated by the Rodeo-Chediski wildfire to Round Valley on June 22, 1002 sewed this quilt in hopes of keeping their minds occupied and maybe raise a little money for those whose homes were being destroyed. The raffle earned approx. $1,200 to help the Linden area.
