There were three teachers, one per room, and the fourth room was used for band or orchestra. By 1926, grades included to the tenth grade. After World War II, the schoolhouse was expanded by a room, drinking fountain and sink, and the wood shed was remodeled into another classroom. A government surplus barracks was moved to the area, and a quonset hut was added to make a kitchen, restrooms and a gymnasium. High school students rode the bus to Snowflake High until 1976.
