The flat-roofed flagstone structure, approx. 7 ft x 8 ft, has one metal door with a barred-window and one small barred window opening on adjoining wall. The jail did not have glass windows or a solid door. In the winter, heat was supplied by a small wood- burning stove stoked by the prisoners. This jail was used to house prisoners until they could be transported to Holbrook, AZ for arraignment.
