Antiquities.DescriptionThis artifact was found on the Darnell ranch located on the eastern slopes of the Chiricahua Mountains in Cochise County, Arizona. Excavated between 1968 and 1983 by Cochise College Archeology Department, created between 1250 and 1400 CE, the jar is 58 cm high with a 25 cm diameter and has a 10 cm lipped openning at the top. It is made of a light brown clay and painted on the outside with white and black symetrical designs and most likely used as a serving container at meals.Physical Dimensions58cm. x 25cm.
