CreatorA. DelahanteDescriptionA. Delahante's personal letter expressing his gratitude to the United States and the distribution of the stamp collection. The personal letter came with in an envelope labeled "For the person (American citizen) to whom this present will be remitted." Along with Delahante's letter, came with 10 envelopes labeled "French Gift--Please remit to an American school boy collecting stamps to -- to come off, put the stamps in water." with stamps and small letter to the child. Delahante also enclosed 20 envelopes of stamps labeled "Sous le patronage du REPUBLICAIN DU MIDI--LES ECOLIERS DES PYRENEES-ORIENTALES en reconnaissance aux enfants des Etats-Unis POST STAMPS FOR COLLECTIONS."
