In 1948, he opened a funeral business, becoming the first black funeral home owner in Arizona. He graduated from Arizona State University and obtained a PhD in business from Union Graduate School. He was also a part of the Arizona Sun newspaper. Lincoln died on June 9, 1995 at his home in Paradise Valley and is buried at Greenwood Memorial Park in Phoenix. The executive terminal at Phoenix Sky Harbor is named the Lincoln J. Ragsdale Executive Terminal in his honor and a scholarship at Arizona State University bears his name.More InformationWikipedia
