In this interview, he talks about his family history. His maternal grandfather had a homestead in Tempe before moving to Buckeye. Mr. Villa attended Arizona State University for one year and played on the baseball team. He joined the U.S. Army and went through ranger training. During the Korean War, he served in Alaska and Korea.
