Bruce Heiden is a cotton farmer and owner of H Four Farms in Buckeye, Arizona. He was born in 1934 in Buckeye to Walter A. and Louise Marie (Tremblay) Heiden. His father was a mechanic and in 1947 bought the land that the family continues to farm today. In this interview, Mr. Heiden talks about his family, the schools he attended, his childhood activities, the Buckeye Community Church, and some of the businesses and people he know growing up in Buckeye. He met his wife, Helen, in high school and they were married shortly after graduating. Mr. Heiden has served on numerous profession and civil entities, including the Roosevelt Irrigation District Board, Board of Directors of the Arizona Cotton Growers Association, Arizona Governor's Groundwater Users Advisory Council for the Phoenix Active Management Area, and the Buckeye Elementary School Board.
