Smith. C.J. was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1926. He talks about his father, also C.J. Smith, who worked for the United Fruit Company. Mr. Smith tells several interesting stories about Arizona history and his own past. Mr. and Mrs. Smith talks about the changes they have witnessed in Phoenix since the 1930s. They were involved in the Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Phoenix rodeo. In Session 2 C.J. and B.J. talk about the Phoenix rodeo, 4th of July celebrations, Silver Saddle parade group, their involvement in civic clubs, and his company, CJS Film Studios.
