She eked out a living in Sedona by selling insurance, being a stenographer and a notary public. But, as an expert horsewoman, she did alot of riding double for the female stars of Sedona movies. Faye and other local skilled riders were key to this film as there were many horse chase sequences. The horses were also set up with radio transmitters to ensure smooth communication while filming. At the end of the shoot, stars Glenn Ford (left) and Edmond O'Brien (right) mugged with Faye to promote a studio thank you party.
