The Double F Ranch in Cochise County’s Texas Canyon area became famous in Arizona and throughout the Southwest for its championship registered quarter horse breeding program from 1931 to 1968, ending with the death of its creator, Rose Hayden Fulton, in that year. These archival family photographs, some taken by Rose herself, tell the story of the Double F Ranch during those years, with action images of her ranch manager, trainers, cowboys and the prize-winning horses themselves.
