The Carefree Desert Gardens started out as a dirt parking lot, but was transformed in 2001 into a garden with walkways, bridges, water features, and an amphitheater. In 2011, the Gardens were renovated as a gift from Mark and Juanita Wdowiak of Desert Foothills Landscaping.
